Permanent Make-Up
Brows, freckles, and lips. Permanent Make-up should be unnoticeable. Wonderfully subtle and natural. Specialized in Korean-inspired lip coloring.
Natural Powderbrows / Powder Brows
The pixel technique used on the brow results in a soft and natural look. The Natural Powderbrow technique is suitable for all skin types and hair/skin tones.
Microneedling
Skin renewal with a rejuvenating effect. A wonderful glow appears immediately after treatment. Also effective in the field of "medical needling" for scar treatment.
Lipblush / Lip Blush
"Lip blush is a must-have"
From color choice and shape to intensity, everything is individually customizable. A touch of color can make your face glow. It can also be used to balance slight asymmetries or simply enhance the shape.
Remover
The remover treatment typically requires several appointments. The remover used is pH-neutral and does not damage the skin. Instead, the remover liquid binds to the old color pigments and breaks them down. The results are always visible after 4-5 weeks.
Paramedical treatment
Areola and nipple reconstruction following surgery or after augmentation/reduction. Scar revision is often a crucial part of the treatment. The scar's structure can be improved and/or virtually eliminated using camouflage techniques (pigmentation).

Permanent Make-Up
In all treatments, color is introduced into the skin using a demograph. The pigments remain in the skin for approximately 1-3 years. A follow-up appointment is usually necessary. My focus is on achieving the most natural-looking result possible. Please read the FAQ for a better understanding. If you already have existing permanent makeup, feel free to send me some pictures beforehand, and we can discuss a personalized approach.
Powderbrows
Powder brows come in many variations, for example with a color gradient or an ombre effect (using two colors). The brow can have a defined/intense shape or a completely natural, "fluffy" look. We would be happy to discuss your desired brow style with you during a consultation!
Lipblush
Candy lips, watercolor lips, blush, and more – the possibilities are endless. However, for overdrawn lips and lip neutralization (lightening dark natural lips), two appointments are necessary. Overdrawn lips should generally be avoided to achieve the most natural result. A natural look is paramount.
Freckles
The sun-kissed look all year round. We can customize the color, number, and intensity. Freckles give your face a natural, summery glow all year round, without the need for constant makeup. Freckles can make your face appear fresher and younger.

Notes on pigmentation

Consultation
For older work, please send me pictures beforehand. Generally, I would prefer to avoid reworking such work. Feel free to send me inquiries about remover treatments in advance. A remover treatment always requires several appointments. Before the treatment, there will be a consultation, and I will need your written consent.
Feel free to bring pictures of your wishes or favorite lipstick colors.
It is also possible to perform the treatment under anesthesia.

Treatment process
Before the actual pigmentation begins, all steps will be discussed together. Shape and color will, of course, be coordinated with you. Interim results during the treatment will also be discussed, for example, adjustments concerning the desired color intensity. The procedure is performed under strict hygienic regulations and with pigments of the highest standard. However, there are a few rules for you beforehand: no alcohol (for 24 hours prior) and minimal caffeine before the treatment. Please do not schedule a permanent makeup appointment for six weeks after botox or hyaluronic acid injections.

No guarantee of results
Every skin is different, therefore no specific result can be guaranteed. Skin absorbs the pigment differently, and unfortunately, the longevity of the pigment cannot be predicted. On average, permanent makeup (PMU) remains clearly visible for 1-3 years. The color fades by approximately 30-50% after the treatment and becomes significantly more subtle. A touch-up treatment may be necessary. A touch-up should be performed no sooner than 6 weeks and no later than 6 months after the initial treatment. Furthermore, new PMU should not be applied too soon over existing work.
With proper aftercare, you can significantly influence the result of your permanent makeup. Refer to the aftercare instructions.

Aftercare
Day 1: The color result should be slightly too intense, as fading is factored in. A slight burning sensation and swelling are normal. Apply the aftercare product thinly several times a day. Avoid moisture.
Days 2-4: The healing process begins. Lymph may leak and scabs may form . The treated areas should only be gently patted with a moist cotton pad (Octenisept), if at all. Continue to moisturize several times a day.
Days 5-7: The pigmented area will now become somewhat dry and flaky. The scab must not be removed. Continue with aftercare as needed.
Days 8-10: The color is now barely visible and is developing.
Days 11-28: The healing process is in its final stages.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a highly effective treatment for skin renewal and rejuvenation. The improved skin structure leads to radiant beauty and a profound sense of well-being. Depending on the initial condition and treatment goals, several sessions at varying intervals are recommended. Follow-up treatments are always beneficial – whether to refresh the skin, maintain the results, or simply to pamper yourself. Microneedling is primarily used on the face, neck, and décolleté. Furthermore, multiple treatments can reduce the appearance of existing scars. The success of the treatment naturally depends on the age and extent of the scar. The fresher the scar, the better the treatment results. For example, after a facelift, microneedling can begin as early as four weeks post-operatively.

Advice
Note: Direct sun exposure should be avoided after a microneedling treatment.
The desired intensity will be discussed beforehand. In addition to the peeling attachment, there are three different needle sizes available. These determine how invasive the treatment will be. It's helpful to start with a lower needle size and gradually work your way up to the optimal size during the first treatment.

Treatment process
Before the actual microneedling treatment, a peel and nanodermabrasion are performed. This preliminary peel creates the conditions for more effective needling. Dead skin cells are removed, allowing the needles to glide more easily into the skin during the treatment. The treatment can be performed with a mild anesthetic upon request, making it virtually painless.

Effectiveness
Hyaluronic acid, collagen, and dexpanthenol are sometimes used in the treatment. The most intensive effect is achieved with a course of treatment. This involves approximately 4-5 treatments at intervals of 10-12 days. Afterward, treatments can be performed every two months. However, there is an immediate effect after each treatment, and the intervals between treatments can also be irregular. Slight redness may occur after the treatment. The skin may also peel slightly and/or feel tight.

Aftercare
Avoid sun exposure for the first few days after treatment and pay extra attention to sun protection for the first two weeks. Your skin will have a greater need for moisture and protection after the treatment. Additional skincare products can be purchased. It is not recommended to use any products other than those recommended.
Paramedical treatment
Bricks & Lines specializes in cosmetic tattooing within the medical field. Nipple reconstruction (areola/mammilla) is a versatile procedure. It can also involve adjusting the size or color. Colors and size are determined individually and collaboratively. A natural-looking result is always the goal.

Nipple Reconstruction
It doesn't necessarily have to be a complete nipple reshaping after surgery. There are also options to enlarge, reduce, or color-adjust the existing nipple. After a medical procedure, prior scar treatment is often recommended and leads to better pigmentation results.
Scar treatment
Scars can be improved through a special microneedling treatment. Especially after medical procedures or burns, unsightly scars often remain. The micro-injuries stimulate the skin to regenerate, resulting in a lasting improvement. Several treatments within six weeks are often necessary.
Medical camouflage pigmentation
If scars are particularly light or dark, it's possible to color-match them to the skin to reduce their visibility. For optimal results, we recommend scar treatment beforehand. Please note, however, that the pigments won't tan. So please ensure your skin has your average skin tone for your appointment.

Aftercare
Leave the protective film on the affected area for the first 48 hours. After that, apply the aftercare cream twice daily and clean with Octenisept if necessary. The area should be kept as dry as possible and not too moist. Sun exposure must be avoided throughout the entire healing process. If a scab forms, it must remain on the skin and not be removed. The follow-up appointment should take place no sooner than 6 weeks and no later than within the first 3 months.
